If you’ve been one of the lucky ones chosen by Microsoft to host a Windows 7 Launch Party, aside from the Windows 7 Napkins and Balloons, you will now have something else to show off at your party. You will receive a limited “Steve Ballmer” edition of Windows 7! Basically its Windows 7 Ultimate, but this special edition of Windows 7 will sport new fancy looking packaging and have Steve Ballmer’s signature on it.

This Ballmer edition of Windows 7 was discovered after some windows enthusiast complained directly to Ballmer because they weren’t eligible to host a Windows 7 Launch Party because of their location. Feeling their dismay at been unable to host one of these exclusive Windows 7 Party’s, Ballmer decided to send them a party kit right away before any of the other party hosts would receive them. In it the Windows 7 Ultimate Ballmer Edition was found (See below)

Microsoft did something similar for the Windows Vista launch except there was no launch party’s planned. The limited edition of Windows Vista Ultimate with Bill Gates signature was sold on Amazon.

Microsoft haven’t said if they will even be offering this “Ballmer Edition” Of Windows 7 for sale to the public or where it will be sold. So for now only those of you who are lucky enough to be hosting a Windows 7 Launch party will be getting this ” Steve Ballmer ” edition Of Windows 7 Ultimate.
